Timothy Brice Horne
Seffner, Florida

Timothy Brice Horne, a cherished husband, father, and son, entered into eternal rest on March 30, 2026, surrounded by his family at his residence in Seffner, Florida, after a courageous six-year battle with stage 4 colon cancer.

Born on August 8, 1973, in Lumberton, North Carolina, Timothy was known for his compassionate, humorous, and infectiously outgoing personality. His dedication to his family was evident throughout his life, as he embraced the role of provider and protector with grace and strength.

Timmy’s love for family extended beyond daily life. He thrived in creating lasting bonds and fostering a deep sense of connection. He found great joy in gathering with loved ones, fishing, and watching San Francisco 49ers football.

He is survived by his parents, Brice and Sandra Horne; his wife, Jennifer Horne; his children, Cheyenne Horne, Chris Mathis, and Ashley Aduddell; his siblings, Sondra R. Geide, Sherry Mitchell, and John Horne; his grandchildren, Paisley, Isabelle, Railynn, Junior, Easton, Brooklyn, McKinley, Kinsley, and Kacyn; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends, all of whom will forever cherish the memories of his unconditional love and guidance.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Boggs, and his son, Shannon Caddo.

  1. Jennifer- My husband and I had the privilege of meeting you and Timmy at a hotel pool in Madeira Beach while we were all staying there. Timmy came right over and introduced himself, and what started as a simple conversation turned into hours of talking that we’ll never forget. He shared stories about his children, his journey with cancer, and his outlook on life.

I was so deeply moved by his strength, determination, and genuinely positive spirit. I could have listened to him talk forever. By the end of that day, we had become Facebook friends, I told him I wanted to follow his journey, and I’m so grateful that I did.

Even though we only spent a few hours together, my husband and I felt like we had known him for years. I will always be thankful for that time and for the chance to have met such an incredible soul.

Sending love and heartfelt condolences. He will never be forgotten.

  2. Timmy was a stand up king among men. I always enjoyed our friendship when we were kids growing up in Gibtown. We had different journeys in our adult years and I hadn’t seen him in years. But I am grateful we were able to reconnect thru social media, and has been great to catch up and keep in touch. Rest easy my friend, see ya on the other side.

  3. Timmy was a great friend and I’m very sorry to have loss him. I know he will be truly missed by his family and friends. I am very sorry Brice and Sandra, it is very difficult to bury a child. Know that he is no longer in pain. Jennifer, I only got to meet you once or twice and I’m very sorry for your loss. I have know Timmy for 35 years and always had a blast with him at the Faulkenburg house. Rest in peace and love, my brother, until we meet again.
