Patricia Llanes (Lala), a cherished mother, grandparent, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026. Born on April 13, 1951, in Tampa, FL, Patricia Llanes was known for her big heart and willingness to take anyone into her home—a reflection of her spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her dedication to family was evident throughout her life, as she embraced the roles of homemaker, provider, and caregiver with grace, strength, and compassion. She found great joy in spending time with her family and enjoyed dancing. Patricia’s love for family extended beyond daily life; she thrived on creating lasting bonds and fostering a deep sense of connection. She was the life of the party.
One of Patricia’s greatest passions was dancing. She spent almost every weekend finding joy in watching her brother sing and play guitar. This passion not only enriched her life but also strengthened the relationships she held dear.
Patricia Llanes leaves behind her son, Bobby Shaw; daughters, Melissa Peterson and Cristina Hernandez; and brother, Tony Llanes. Her grandchildren, Sydnie Williams, Geordan Shaw, Jillian Peterson, Zachary Westendorf, Daijah Madry, Xavier Madry, Dominic Shaw, Dakota Shaw, and Jaxon Strowbridge, will forever cherish the memories of her unconditional love and guidance.
She was predeceased by Antonio and Oneita Llanes.
