Loretta Dussault Smith, a cherished mother, passed away peacefully on 4/24/2026 at Melech Hospice House in Tampa, FL after multiple illnesses resulting in heart failure. Born on April 26, 1937 in Great Falls, Montana, Loretta was known for her strength, resilience, hard-working and loving nature, a reflection of her spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.

Her dedication to family was evident throughout her life, as she embraced the role of motherhood with providing her kids with unconditional love and support. She found time to be a Girl Scout, Cub Scout and Church Youth Group Leader while working a full time job. She also volunteered at her church’s thriftshop for several years. Loretta’s love for family extended beyond daily life; she thrived in creating lasting bonds and fostering a deep sense of connection.

Loretta Dussault Smith leaves behind her daughters Karen Ladner (Gary) and Charisse Konrady, her son Randy Smith (Zendrie), her 5 grandchildren, David (Stephanie) and Kevin (Shannon) Ladner, Brittany, Bryan (Morgan) and Dan Smith, 3 great grand daughters, and three step grand-children (Korben, Kegan and Kendra Konrady), all of whom will forever cherish the memories of her unconditional love and guidance.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Smith, her brothers Don and Joseph Dussault and her Sister Mary Irion.
