Helen "Beth" Kushner

Helen “Beth” Kushner, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 5, 2026, while in hospice care in St. Petersburg, Florida, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer and its many subsequent health complications. She was born on February 2, 1967, in Binghamton, New York.
If you knew her as “Beth,” you knew her personally—you knew the woman behind the name and were part of the circle she held close to her heart. If you knew her as “Helen,” chances are you knew her through her professional life, where she was respected for her dedication, kindness, and unwavering work ethic.
She is lovingly survived by her only daughter, Ashley; her cherished grandchildren, Aleah, Kai, and Ella; and her sister, Judy. They will forever treasure the memories of her unconditional love, quiet strength, guidance, and the countless moments shared together, especially during Christmas time. That was her favorite time of the year with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Dorothy, and her siblings, Nick and Kathy.
She found her greatest peace where the sea met the sky. May every sunset over the ocean, every gentle wave upon the shore, and every salty breeze remind us of Beth’s beautiful spirit and the love she leaves with us always.
Ashley, I’ll always remember in the 80’s when we would go out to the dance clubs and bars. We also would go on road trips trying not to get in trouble but sometimes that wasn’t possible. She’ll be loved and missed.
Beth I want to thank you for all of the wonderful times we spent together. The memories of you and Bobbie just laughing and joking were so special. You also allowed Bobbie and I to host Ashley’s 16 birthday at our house, it was a memorable day. You have found your wings, may you forever soar, we love you. 💔
