Sharon Ann Barney

Sharon Ann Barney, 67, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on November 18, 2025.
Sharon was born on August 25, 1958, in Syracuse, NY, to Edith and Robert Read. She will be remembered for her deep spiritual faith, her courageous fighting spirit, and being a natural caregiver to all those around her. The family will especially remember Sharon for her beautiful heart and fun-loving spirit.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Barney; her daughter, Danielle (Scott) Drahzal of Charlotte, NC; her two sons, Robert Barney of Lowville, NY, and Richard (Danelle) Barney of Rome, NY. She is also survived by four brothers: Robert Read of Mesa, George Read of Wisconsin, Keith Read of NC, and Kevin Read of FL; and her grandchildren: McKenna, Sarah, Roux, Marleigh, Gwen, Garrett, and Joey.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dave Read of NY.
