Dorothy Sollmann, of Zephyrhills, Florida, joined her loved ones in Heaven on November 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Dorothy was born on April 27, 1936, in Port Huron, Michigan, to Albert and Alma Post. She will be remembered for her commitment to giving back, her fun-loving nature, and the love, laughter, and care she shared so freely.
She is survived by her daughters: Crystal (Ken) Strydonck, Catherine (Dennis) Lammertz, Jennifer Shell, and Cindi Shell; her loving grandchildren: Kristina (Terry) Pickett, Heather (Joey) Marenich, Erica (Scott) Whitehead, Jonathon (Mary) Strydonck, Tiffani (Cory) Whitcomb, Stephanie Thompson, Ashley (Jeremiah) Tarzwell, James (Jessie) Weeks, Devin (Phillip) Scheff, Travis Post, Kalyn Post, and Allison Paksi. Her love lives on through her 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sollmann, and her son, Rodney Post.
