Davie Darrel Bradley Sr.
“Goofy”
Davie Darrel Bradley Sr., affectionately known as “Goofy,” was born on May 18, 1959, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Roy Bradley and Mary (Shavor) Bradley. He passed away at Tampa General Hospital on January 17, 2026, after bravely battling cancer. Although he had previously overcome the disease, it returned aggressively.
He is survived by his three children: Tasha Bradley, Davie Bradley Jr., and Mary Peabody. His oldest daughter, Christina Bradley, preceded him in death and is now awaiting his arrival in Heaven. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Sara, Angel, Mark Jr., Cheyenne, and Vivian.
Davie is survived by many loved ones, including Wesley and Shirley; Dennis and Donna; Denise; Nancy and Jim; Maxine and Junior; and Candy, along with many others not mentioned here but deeply cherished.
Now that he has passed, he has the privilege of being reunited with his parents, his oldest daughter, and siblings who made the journey to Heaven before him.
Davie preferred to be called Dave, and growing up, he was known as a wild child — earning the nickname “Goofy.” That spirited young boy grew up to become one of the greatest plumbers in the Tampa Bay area. He worked his entire life to provide a better world for those he loved.
Thank you for everything, Dave.
