Donald Wylie Price

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Donald Wylie Price passed away October 15, 2026. He will be dearly missed more than words can express.
Born in Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late Orlie Arthur Price and Minnie Leona Haddock.
Don was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps as a lance corporal after serving four years with medals for expert rifle and expert pistol.
Don graduated from Tampa University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
He worked many years in the boat and yacht sales business and commercial fishing business because of his love of the sea. He captained many vessels, including a 150′ tugboat. He had a natural gift from an early age as a mechanic and carpenter.
He left big shoes to fill and will be missed by his whole family. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Leslie; daughter Heather Whitecross and her husband, Brock Whitecross; granddaughter Alana and her husband, Bryan Stamey; great-grandson Ryland Stamey; and great-granddaughter Linnea Stamey. He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and a sister-in-law.
