YuYin Chen

YuYin Chen, a respected leading role model among men, passed on to our ancestors to watch over us at 12:55am Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Son of teachers, diplomats and the WW11 hero, the Great General Dong Sheng Chen. YuYin developed two rapid test systems for prenatal care disease detection to enable early treatment and prevention of death and birth defects. He also was on the panel to establish blood alcohol limits and demonstrated its affects across weight class.
He was a nurturing caring father and husband with a magnetic personality who made friends everywhere he went across the world. YuYin is survived by his wife Carolyn, his 3 children {Charlyn G, Yu-Gene C, and Mikael (TaiShan) C}, his 4 grandchildren {Jaclyn,Joseph Tai, Geneva, and Rory} his 2 grand dogs {Icarus and ZoeyPepper} along with a mass of friends and relatives.
It is impossible to fully capture his love and positive impact he had on us all. We love him dearly and miss him but are comforted he is alive in everyone of us through our memories.
