Lonny Lee Fox, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Seffner, Florida, on June 8, 2026, at the age of 78, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on June 28, 1947, in Miami, Florida, Lonny lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, strength, a wonderful sense of humor, and the lasting friendships he built throughout the years. He found great joy in fishing and rebuilding cars, hobbies that reflected both his patience and passion. More than anything, Lonny treasured the time he spent with his family and friends, leaving behind countless cherished memories.
Lonny will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love he shared and the lasting impact he made on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Carol Fox; his daughter, Stacey Ford (Stephen); his sons, Chris Fox (Natalie) and Jeff Fox (Julia); his grandsons, Evan Fox (Katrina) and Aiden Ford; his great-granddaughter, Quinn; and his sister, Fran Fox. Each of them will forever cherish the love, guidance, and memories they shared with him.
Lonny was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lillian Fox, and by his brothers, Larry Fox and Jimmy Crane.
His legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
