Frederick was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a man of strong Christian faith. He was also a devoted member of South Strand Assembly of God Church in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. His faith was not only something he believed, but something he lived out daily—through his words, his actions, and his steadfast love for his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Tedder, and his mother, Catherine Dempier Tedder.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Jean Tedder, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and devotion. He was a proud father to Frederick (Freddie) Jenkins Tedder and his wife Jennifer, and Charles (Charlie) Ray Tedder and his wife Jennifer. He is also survived by his sister, Catherine Larae Morrison. He took immense pride in each of them and found deep happiness in watching them grow.
Frederick will be remembered as a strong and faithful man who led his family with wisdom and grace. His legacy of love, faith, and perseverance will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. While he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
